About the Role:
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the organization meets its safety and quality objectives. This involves identifying system deficiencies and assisting in their rectification. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of safety principles, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and human factors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the VP, Safety & Quality to develop and implement quality management systems.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain procedures for quality control and assurance.
- Provide training and education to employees on quality management principles and practices.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation.
- Valid M1 or M2 AME license an asset.
- Previous managerial or inspector experience in QA systems an asset.
- Sound knowledge of CARs.
- Sound understanding of safety principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office components.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
