About the Role

At BGIS, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities' mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain facility systems, including electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of facility systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Respond to service requests and perform repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless facility operations

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance and operations
  • High school diploma plus trades training and certification or licensing
  • Advanced ability to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical building systems and equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and resolution skills
  • Current knowledge of fire, life, safety, and building codes and standards
