Job Title: Air Transport Pilot

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Transport Pilot to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for flying fixed wing aircraft or helicopters, monitoring the operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight, and coordinating flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Flying fixed wing aircraft or helicopters
  • Monitoring the operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight
  • Coordinating flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control
  • Conducting in-flight tests and monitoring the functioning of aircraft equipment and systems during flights
  • Conducting pre-flight inspections of aircraft and checking passenger and cargo distribution to ensure that weight and balance specifications are met
  • Contacting control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions, and other information
  • Maintaining communications with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters and responding to and reporting in-flight emergencies and malfunctions
  • Preparing flight evaluation reports
Requirements:
  • Commercial Pilot Licence - fixed wing
  • Airline Pilot Transport Licence - fixed wing
  • Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Licence
  • Multi-instrument Flight Rating
  • Large jet airplanes
  • Small jet airplane
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The work will be physically demanding and will require the ability to distinguish between colours.
