We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Care Provider to join the Derek Family team. As a Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Experience: We require a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: The Child Care Provider will work in the employer's home, with the option to live-in on a no-charge basis.
- Tasks: The Child Care Provider will be responsible for:
- Changing diapers and maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
- Sterilizing bottles and preparing formulas.
- Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
- Preparing children for rest periods and maintaining a safe environment.
- Supervising and caring for children, including a multi-aged group.
- Security and Safety: A criminal record check is required for this position.
- Transportation and Travel: Public transportation is available for the Child Care Provider.
- Weight Handling: The Child Care Provider will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: We require a Child Care Provider with a client-focused, flexible, and reliable approach, with strong initiative, time management, patience, and honesty.
- Experience: We are looking for a Child Care Provider with 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
- Work Hours: The Child Care Provider will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: The primary language of work is English.
