Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join our team. As a Power Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom applications using Power Apps, automating workflows and processes using Power Automate, and creating and maintaining data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI. You will also be responsible for integrating Power Platform solutions with various data sources and ensuring the seamless operation and performance of deployed applications and workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development and Implementation:
    • Design and develop custom applications using Power Apps to address specific business needs.
    • Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate to improve efficiency.
    • Create and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
    • Develop chatbots using Power Virtual Agents to enhance customer and employee interactions.
  • Integration and Maintenance:
    • Integrate Power Platform solutions with various data sources such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and other third-party services.
    • Ensure the seamless operation and performance of deployed applications and workflows.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power Platform solutions.
  • Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
    • Translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
    • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users to maximize the utility of developed solutions.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Monitor and manage user access and permissions within Power Platform solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform.
    • Explore new technologies and tools to enhance the functionality and performance of solutions.
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development practices and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Experience with data integration and working with APIs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and other Microsoft technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications are highly desirable.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
  • Understanding of data governance and data security practices.
