Health Care Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Aide to join our team at Glenmore Lodge Care Community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation.
- Assist with medication administration, including BP monitoring, catheter care, and mobility exercises.
- Monitor resident well-being and provide support with daily living activities.
- Participate in common area cleaning, laundry, and resident care assignments.
- Complete resident care tasks as outlined in the personal service plan.
- Respond promptly to resident call bells and door alarms.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Care Aid certificate program.
- Medication Certification.
- Current First Aid/CPR training and experience with medication assistance.
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario applicants) or Criminal Records Check (British Columbia applicants).
