Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is a leading organization that champions a healthy, fun, creative, and active lifestyle for Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, and their families. Our mission is to deliver a variety of recreation and fitness programs, offer family support, organize charity events, and provide retail, travel, and banking discounts and customized financial services.

The Role

The Fitness Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering aerobic classes. They will demonstrate and instruct aerobic and recreational activities and techniques, assemble supplies and equipment as required, and prepare class schedules.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and experience conducting aerobics classes
  • Aerobics Instructor Certification
  • Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and delivering aerobic classes
  • Experience in monitoring and controlling large groups of participants
  • Experience in ensuring safety protocols and procedures
  • Strong client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership skills

Language Requirements

English is the primary language required for this role.

Other Information

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
