We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Cleaner to join our team at Innovative Facility Care Inc.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position requiring 6 to 18 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our commercial building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation: Own transportation, own vehicle, willing to travel, travel expenses not paid by employer, public transportation not available.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
