About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team at RSR Road Surface Recycling Limited. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse and office spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that all areas are free from clutter and debris.
  • Groundskeeping: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a visually appealing and well-maintained outdoor space.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, and ensure that all issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Special Tasks: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, and work with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and will be expected to work independently to complete tasks. You will be required to work in a warehouse and office setting, and will be exposed to various cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability.
