The Privacy and Access Council of Canada is seeking a permanent, full-time Information and Privacy Coordinator to join our Enterprise Risk Management team.

This role requires a unique blend of problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail, as no two requests for records or privacy incidents are alike.

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the City of Kamloops' compliance with FIPPA and other relevant legislation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in local government administration, public sector, or legal environments, with a minimum of three years' experience in administrative roles.

Key qualifications include:

  • Completion of a certificate in Local Government Administration or a post-secondary diploma with a focus on law, political science, or public administration.
  • Proficient in intermediate Word and intermediate Excel, as demonstrated through testing (70% pass rate required).
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, as demonstrated through testing (70% pass rate required).
