Position Overview

ASTRO TAXI LTD. is seeking a dedicated Transportation Dispatch Specialist to manage our fleet operations efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless communication and coordination among vehicle operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise vehicle operators on traffic conditions and other operational challenges.
  • Assist in maintaining communication systems to ensure effective dispatching.
  • Dispatch personnel according to established schedules and work orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator activities.
  • Process and transmit vital information to coordinate the efforts of vehicle operators and crews using advanced dispatching tools.
  • Document mileage, fuel consumption, repairs, and other operational costs.
  • Schedule assignments and oversee the activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
  • Contact clients to provide requested wake-up calls and other services.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
  • Working Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
