Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled CMT Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards, identifying irregularities, and ensuring all repairs and inspections are performed in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections and tests to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Identify and report any irregularities or defects
- Ensure all repairs and inspections are performed in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections and repairs
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians
- Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Post-secondary education or equivalent in aerospace technology or a related field
- 4+ years of experience as a CMT Technician in the aerospace or manufacturing industry
- Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCCA or other applicable governing body)
- Valid AME-M license or DND equivalent certification
- Controlled Goods Program Clearance
- In-depth knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes
- Strong communication and computer skills
