About the Role
VON Canada is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Nova Scotia. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other settings in communities across Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to clients in their homes and other settings
- Manage diabetes, dialysis, IV medications, IV/CVAD care, palliative care, phlebotomy, and wound care
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and report on client progress
Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Nova Scotia
- Experience in community health an asset
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
