Wealth Management Internship Opportunity at ScotiaMcLeod

In this position, you will:
- Provide high-level support to Advisor teams by:
- Efficiently processing client requests and establishing new accounts
- Diligently maintaining and documenting all necessary client files and information, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation as needed
- Collaborating with various departments to resolve client issues
- Assisting in the preparation of presentations, communication materials, and client events as required - Support the development of prospecting relationships by:
- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive prospect database and profiles
- Identifying potential new relationships through client referrals or lead lists
- Aiding in the creation of marketing and presentation materials - Contribute to the effective operation of the Advisor, Branch, and Regional teams by:
- Upholding a high standard of customer service
- Gaining in-depth knowledge of policies, processes, products, and services
- Participating in the generation of innovative ideas and approaches
- Supporting special projects or initiatives as assigned - Engage in monthly learning sessions to network across Scotia Wealth Management business lines
- Collaborate with business partners to advance assigned deliverables
- Work on various initiatives and projects as assigned
