Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement underwriting best practices and guidelines for Cyber and Professional Liability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to drive new business opportunities.
  • Lead a team of underwriters to deliver operational excellence and achieve budget and profitability goals.
  • Mentor and train staff to facilitate personal growth, succession planning, and career development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in underwriting within the Cyber and Professional Liability.
  • Prior management experience is an asset.
  • Proven ability to deliver difficult messages and influence positive outcomes.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work for yourself and others.
  • Proven ability to network and build relationships.
  • Organized, highly motivated, self-starter who takes responsibility for own performance.
  • CIP/FCIP/CRM designation is considered an asset.
