Position Overview

Join our team at Dawson Creek Husky as a Retail Cashier. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while managing transactions efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the cash register and handle financial transactions.
  • Process payments through various methods including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan merchandise and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Receive payments for products and services rendered.
  • Engage in suggestive selling to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain stock levels on shelves and ensure cleanliness of the counter area.
  • Welcome and assist customers with their inquiries.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.

  • Fast-paced retail setting.
  • Role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
