Job Title: Sales Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Supervisor to join our team at Professional Book Fairs. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are meeting sales targets.
  • Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and establish work schedules.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise office and volunteer staff.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
