About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Estimator to join our team at THRIVE AUTO COLLISION. As an Auto Body Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assessing and estimating the cost of repairs for damaged vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and estimate damage to vehicles, taking into account the extent of the damage and the necessary repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Work closely with our technicians to ensure that repairs are completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being responsive to customer needs and concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are readily available.
  • Support the training and development of our apprentices and junior staff members.
  • Support the integration of newcomers and refugees into our team, providing a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
  • Support the creation of a welcoming work environment for youth by providing awareness training to employees.
  • Work a regular schedule of 30-35 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in the auto body repair industry is an asset, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are readily available.
  • Ability to support the training and development of our apprentices and junior staff members.
