Position OverviewThe controls and software team is in search of a Thermal Management Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of thermal management systems.
This role involves:
- Developing thermal system performance metrics for powertrain, battery, and cabin loads.
- Analyzing vehicle data to assess thermal system performance.
- Creating development and validation plans for thermal management controls.
- Planning vehicle testing trips and managing associated logistics.
- Supporting and contributing to the development and implementation of control algorithms.
- Testing and diagnosing thermal issues at both electrical and system levels.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Knowledge of heat transfer and heat exchanger performance.
- Understanding of refrigeration cycles.
- Experience with CAN monitoring tools such as CANalyzer or BusMaster.
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git or SVN.
