About the Role:
Anderson First Rate Contracting is seeking a skilled Drywaller to join our team. As a Drywaller, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in various settings, including residential and commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Finishing: Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to create smooth surfaces for painting and finishing.
- Repair and Replacement: Repair and replace damaged or deteriorated drywall to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test drywall installations to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work at heights.
- Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or training in drywall installation an asset.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
