Position Overview:

MPE Engineering Ltd. is seeking a skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in the Red Deer office. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) with APEGA.
  • At least 5 years of experience in consulting engineering, particularly in project design, management, and oversight of water resource initiatives.
  • Strong leadership qualities and proven experience in project and client management; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project management, including contract administration and construction oversight.
  • Supervise, mentor, and manage junior engineers and technologists.
  • Develop planning reports, design specifications, and contract documentation.
  • Conduct construction administration and general oversight of construction activities.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to ensure their project goals are achieved.
