Job Title: Elementary LTO Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Elementary LTO Teacher to join our team at the Durham District School Board.

Job Summary:

This is a 0.5 FTE Long Term Occasional Teaching position for a Grade 8 English teacher to teach French Immersion students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Grade 8 English subjects to French Immersion students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: J/I
  • Experience working with French Immersion students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
