Job Summary:

NearSource Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office spaces, providing exceptional support services to our employees, and promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Space Management: Ensure that all office spaces are clean, organized, and ready for use, regularly checking and maintaining the areas to keep them in top condition.
  • Customer Service: Handle and resolve office-related questions and problems efficiently, providing a high level of customer service to employees, new hires, visitors, and guests.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order and restock food, snacks, and office supplies as needed, ensuring that our team has the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teams such as AV/IT, Security, and property management to ensure smooth operations, staying connected to the business to understand how providing a great workplace impacts the team.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Track and manage reports, metrics, and documentation on SharePoint, supporting the team by documenting processes, suggesting improvements, and identifying workflow issues.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors to ensure good service and maintain strong relationships, using the workplace ticketing system to handle service requests, repairs, and maintenance needs efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues, coordinating with outside vendors when necessary, and closing tickets promptly after completing the work.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in workplace management, facilities, or hospitality.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of building control systems, environmental systems, workplace technology, and audio/visual is a plus, as well as experience managing vendors and implementing corporate safety programs.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, a friendly, energetic, and professional customer service attitude, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
