Long Haul Truck Driver

Jaguar Hauling Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
- Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of our vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
- Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed, ensuring that our trucks are always in good working condition.
- Inspections and Record Keeping: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all communication is clear and concise.
- Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
- Experience: Willingness to train and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
