CB Canada, recognized as one of the fastest-growing rental companies in North America, is in search of a Mechanic.

This technician role involves performing preventive maintenance, conducting advanced diagnostics, and executing complex repairs on equipment in the safest and most efficient manner to minimize downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty locations may feature large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training is preferred
  • 5+ years of mechanic experience with similar diesel or heavy equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or Oil & Gas equipment) is strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Mechanic's tools of the trade may be required.
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The physical demands of this position include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.
