Job Summary:
This Physiotherapist I position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic Acute Care setting at Alberta Health Services.
You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support clients across various service areas, under the guidance of the Allied Health Area Manager and Physiotherapy Professional Practice Lead.
This role provides opportunities to interact with professionals from neighboring areas and oversee a Therapy Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve optimal physical function and independence in various health conditions.
- Engage with patients and families in setting goals, implementing rehabilitation strategies, and evaluating outcomes.
- Collaborate in interprofessional teams to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and mentor students in the field.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
- Have current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Be a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
- Hold the AADL Authorizer certification.
