  • Education and Experience:
    • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Helly N Chilly Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or equivalent in a related field and at least 7 months of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Leadership and Management: The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff. This includes training, coaching, and mentoring staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
    • Operations and Logistics: The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, supply ordering, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
    • Customer Service: The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all customers receive excellent service, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Financial Management: The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for managing the restaurant's finances, including preparing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the restaurant is operating within budget.
  • Supporting Diverse Communities:
    • Cultural Competence: The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers and staff, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds.
    • Indigenous Relations: The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
