Workday Solutions Strategic Analytics Advisor

Langara College is in the process of enhancing its Student Information System through the adoption of Workday Student. We are in search of a Strategic Analytics Consultant to facilitate the effective maintenance and optimization of the system post-deployment. This role will operate under the direction of the operational area leader and will be a pivotal resource for business enhancement, system transformation, and operational analytics.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage process and system requirements to ensure alignment with institutional objectives.
- Oversee Workday configuration to meet the specific needs of the institution.
- Coordinate system testing, upgrades, and product releases to maintain system integrity.
- Drive enhancements in business processes and provide ongoing support and training to users.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors for effective system maintenance and integration.
- Develop and enforce security policies to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, including at least 1 year in Business Analytics.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with ITSM systems is advantageous.
- Experience in SharePoint administration is a plus.
- Background in value stream mapping, business process analysis, and data preparation.
- Experience in research and analysis to support best practice methodologies.
- Ability to create functional specifications for reports, workflows, and interfaces.
- Experience in test planning and documentation, along with participation in testing processes.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
