Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at Star Union Construction Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Budgeting: Prepare and submit detailed construction project budget estimates.
  • Subcontractor Management: Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Project Scheduling: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Budget Management: Plan and manage budgets for construction projects, ensuring that costs are controlled and projects are completed within budget.
  • Material Procurement: Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring that materials are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure that construction projects meet the required standards.
  • Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on project progress and performance.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction management.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
