Child Care Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Child Care Specialist to provide exceptional care in a home environment. This role involves supporting the development and well-being of children through various activities and responsibilities.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
  • Experience in child care ranging from 1 to 2 years is preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Work Environment
  • Position is based in the employer's residence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and maintain cleanliness in the home.
  • Guide children in personal hygiene practices and social skills development.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy atmosphere for children.
  • Organize engaging activities, including games and outings.
  • Prepare and serve balanced and nutritious meals.
  • Supervise children attentively and provide care as needed.
  • Support the emotional well-being of children through attentive care.
Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled full-time in a secondary school program.
Support for Newcomers
  • Assist newcomers and refugees with their settlement needs.
  • Engage in recruitment efforts for individuals displaced by conflicts or natural disasters.
  • Facilitate foreign credential recognition for newcomers.
Youth Development Initiatives
  • Participate in programs aimed at enhancing youth employment opportunities.
  • Provide tailored on-the-job training for young individuals.
