Job Title: Casual Facility Operators

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Facility Operator to join our team at Prairie South Schools. As a Casual Facility Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school division buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of school division buildings and their surrounding grounds
  • Assist the Head Facility Operator with various tasks and duties
  • Perform heavy work, including lifting and moving objects, as required
  • Work in a variety of environments, including crawlspaces, attics, and roofs
Requirements:
  • Grade 10 diploma from a recognized educational institution or General Educational Development (GED)
  • Valid Fireman's certificate if required by legislation
  • Six (6) months experience in a cleaning/caretaking position
  • Working knowledge of computers
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
Physical Requirements:

Good physical condition with the ability to perform heavy work is required. The ability to work in a variety of environments and lift objects up to 100 lbs is necessary.

Wage and Benefits:

In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement, the hourly wage range is $21.45 to $23.86.
