Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Clerk. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for maintaining a well-stocked store, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stocking product to shelves, including dairy, frozen, and non-perishable items
  • Maintaining and building merchandise displays in compliance with Safeway programs
  • Rotation of product and loading/unloading of product for the sales floor
  • Backroom and inventory management
  • Operating a cash register as needed for relief during peak business hours

Requirements

  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated and team-oriented individual with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
