Job Summary
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating profitable business from a range of equipment, developing territory sales plans, and maintaining a strong customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to expand existing customer base and develop new customers within assigned territory and markets segment.
- Solicit business by calling on regular and prospective customers via phone or traveling throughout the assigned territory for planned visits or cold calls.
- Provide technical sales and application solutions for customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience in equipment rental or concrete surface prep and polishing industry.
- 2+ years of direct sales experience.
Preferred Skills
- Solution-selling approach.
- Technical background with the ability to learn engineering concepts.
- Project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.
Work Environment
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
