Position Overview: We are in search of a skilled and bilingual (English/French) Infection Control Specialist with a robust background in education and business development. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in offering expert guidance on infection control, creating and facilitating educational initiatives, and fostering relationships to expand our influence in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver infection control consulting services to healthcare institutions, including evaluations, inspections, and improvement recommendations.
  2. Design and implement educational programs and training workshops on infection prevention and control methodologies.
  3. Support clients in the establishment of infection control policies and procedures in alignment with local and national standards.
  4. Conduct both on-site assessments and virtual consultations to assist clients with infection control issues.
  5. Engage and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, healthcare practitioners, and prospective clients.
  6. Represent IPAC Consulting at industry events, conferences, and seminars to showcase our services and broaden our client network.
  7. Collaborate with the marketing department to create targeted promotional materials and campaigns for the healthcare market.
  8. Remain informed about the latest trends and advancements in infection control and public health to provide clients with the most current advice and best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a related discipline; CIC (Certified Infection Control) certification is preferred.
  2. Proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken) is essential.
  3. Demonstrated experience in infection control consulting, ideally within healthcare environments.
  4. Strong expertise in developing and delivering educational programs and training sessions.
  5. Exceptional networking and relationship-building capabilities.
  6. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with a proactive and client-oriented mindset.
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  8. Willingness to travel as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $60,000.00-$72,000.00 annually
