About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Everett Drywall. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces with precision and attention to detail.
  • Wall Covering Installation: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a professional finish.
  • Colour Consultation: Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings, taking into account their personal preferences and design goals.
  • Finishing Touches: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn from experienced professionals.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with a regular 40-hour workweek.
  • Work Language: English language proficiency.
