Concrete Surface Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at Magic Ground Ltd. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Concrete Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, operate power vibrators to compact concrete, and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
- Surface Preparation: Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, instruct apprentices, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
- Repair and Maintenance: Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces, repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures, and estimate costs and materials.
- Communication and Teamwork: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, and work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals.
- The role requires working in a dusty and noisy environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
- The successful candidate must be physically demanding and able to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
