Job Title: Bricklayer

Humo Restorations Inc. is seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build walls, chimneys, and other structures.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required for each project.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on masonry techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in masonry.
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and dependability in meeting project deadlines.
Work Environment:

As a Bricklayer with Humo Restorations Inc., you will work on a variety of construction projects, including residential and commercial buildings, and be required to travel to different job sites.
