Job Title: Environmental Services Aide

At Extendicare Canada Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Aide to join our team. As an Environmental Services Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, including floor care equipment, carpet cleaning machines, and hazardous cleaning products.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Participate in cleanliness inspections and provide input on improving cleaning processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
Requirements:
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and work routines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform all duties and responsibilities.
Working Conditions:

The Environmental Services Aide will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment. The ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.
