About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Dan Vacca Insurance & Financial Services Inc. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling insurance products to clients and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing: Identify and solicit potential clients, provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, and sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft, and other types of insurance.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service, respond to clients' enquiries, and ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations, and other policy requirements are completed.
  • Insurance Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of property/casualty insurance, commercial insurance, automobile insurance, fire insurance, house insurance, and tenant insurance.
  • Administrative Tasks: Monitor insurance claims, maintain accurate records, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Certifications: Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence and provincial or territorial licence.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
