About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Aldergrove Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Centre. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist with patient assessments, goal setting, and treatment planning.
  • Provide support with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and team player.
