Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unity Developer to join our team at Corona Aerospace, Inc. as a VR/XR Unity Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality virtual and augmented reality applications using Unity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to define features and components of the application
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver large and complex features on time and to a high standard
  • Contribute to the development process and drive improvements and suggestions to ensure high-quality code throughout the production cycle
  • Mentor junior developers and help maintain code, product, and process quality
  • Partner with Art, Design, and Production teams to ensure schedules and goals meet business and project needs
  • Conduct code reviews and participate in the hiring process for future colleagues
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience with Unity 3D/Content Development
  • Experience with VR Headset development, with Quest 2 preferred but OpenXR skills to target multiple platforms are also valuable
  • Strong C# object-oriented programming and scripting language skills
  • Experience working with game assets (meshes, animations, materials, etc.)
  • Experience profiling and optimizing game and render performance (GPU and CPU)
  • Experience working on a physics-based game project, source control systems such as Git in a multi-developer team environment
  • Understanding of UX design process and experience working with UX design teams and/or development teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
