Position Overview: We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Floor Care Specialist to enhance our service offerings. In this position, you will be tasked with delivering high-quality cleaning solutions for carpets and various flooring types in both residential and commercial environments. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Carpet and Floor Care: Execute cleaning, shampooing, and extraction of carpets utilizing the appropriate tools and cleaning agents. Maintain and clean various flooring types, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl.
· Assessment and Preparation: Evaluate carpets and flooring to determine suitable cleaning techniques and identify any necessary repairs. Prepare areas for cleaning by relocating furniture as needed and safeguarding surrounding items and surfaces.
· Client Interaction: Engage with clients in a professional and courteous manner. Address any inquiries or concerns regarding the cleaning process and ensure satisfaction throughout the service.
· Equipment Care: Operate and maintain cleaning machinery, including but not limited to carpet extractors, rotary machines, and floor scrubbers. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
· Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and others. Adhere to industry standards and regulations concerning cleaning chemicals and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with fellow team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and meet service expectations. Provide support to colleagues when necessary.
- Previous experience as a Floor Care Specialist or in a comparable role is preferred.
- Familiarity with various carpet and flooring materials, along with appropriate cleaning methods and solutions.
- Capability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Valid driver's license.
