The Grocery Supervisor is a key role within Federated Co-operatives Limited, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the receipt and stocking of merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising and display strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and store operations.
  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and housekeeping, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to service excellence and a team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting of 5-35 pounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Availability to work a rotation of Saturdays and some evening shifts.
