We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Repair Shop Foreman/Woman to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of technicians to ensure that all repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect and test vehicles to identify any issues or defects.
- Estimate repair costs and provide quotes to customers.
- Supervise and train technicians to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete repairs and maintenance.
- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that the shop has the necessary materials and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in an automotive repair shop.
- Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement and/or Truck-Trailer Repairer Red Seal Endorsement.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and communicate with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy equipment.
