We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Sideworx Connect Inc. in Calgary. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable and Payable: Ensure all invoices are thoroughly reviewed, entered, and processed with precision to maintain accurate financial records.
- Vendor and Customer Management: Set up and maintain vendor and customer information in our accounting system, ensuring seamless interactions and transactions.
- Financial Transaction Management: Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including reconciliations and balance monitoring.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, providing regular reports to management as needed.
- Customer Service and Support: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Team Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with the accounting team to achieve departmental goals, and provide training and guidance to junior team members as needed.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, adaptability, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Accounting and Excel Expertise: Possess a strong working knowledge of accounting principles and Excel skills.
- Experience and Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, with a strong customer service focus.
- Adaptability and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
