CSA Group is on the lookout for a Product Safety Certification Specialist to become a vital part of their Plumbing/Piping Division. This position provides an exciting opportunity to engage in a variety of projects while delivering top-notch certification services tailored to client specifications. The preferred candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, demonstrating the capability to interpret industry standards, make informed technical judgments, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Certify plumbing and piping products in accordance with applicable standards
  • Oversee multiple certification projects concurrently
  • Offer technical assistance to the commercial team and support the growth of certification services
  • Assess products and develop testing protocols
  • Analyze test outcomes to verify compliance with established standards
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders on certification processes
  • Assist in the formulation of new or updated standards requirements
  • Conduct audits of client facilities to ensure compliance
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and materials
  • Comprehension of ISO and Plumbing/Piping regulations
