We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Singh Roofing. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our roofing projects.
Key Responsibilities- Blueprint Reading and Interpretation
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution of construction plans.
- Woodworking and Material Handling
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to construct and install roofing systems.
- Construction and Installation
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure a sturdy and secure roofing structure.
- Experience and Adaptability
While experience is an asset, we are open to training the right candidate. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
Work Environment- Work Schedule
Work 30 to 35 hours per week in a dynamic and physically demanding construction environment.
- Language and Communication
Fluency in English is required for effective communication and collaboration with team members and clients.
