About the Role:

Toromont Cat is seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team. As a critical member of our organization, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues with Caterpillar diesel engines and OEM truck and coach vehicles.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by providing responsive and proactive technical expertise.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting repair deadlines and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • A valid Truck and Coach Technician Licence (310T) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Truck and Coach repair and service.
  • Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
