About the Role
BDO is a firm built on a foundation of positive relationships with our people and our clients. As a Manager on our US Corporate Tax team, you will play a key role in helping clients navigate complex tax landscapes and capitalize on business opportunities.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for clients to optimize their tax positions and drive business growth.
- Lead US Tax engagements for partnership, trust, and corporate clients, ensuring exceptional service and quality work.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their industry, challenges, and opportunities.
- Participate in business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and driving growth.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality work and drive professional development.
Your Qualifications
- Canadian or US CPA designation.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, supporting US Tax clients.
- Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate and trust tax planning, and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
