Job Responsibilities:

As a Production Worker in our safe and organized manufacturing environment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality corrugated boxes for our clientele.

You will collaborate with your team to manage the daily output of quality corrugated products efficiently and safely. Attention to detail is essential as you will ensure that order specifications and special requirements are meticulously followed, conducting quality checks in accordance with WestRock's production standards.

Daily physical tasks will include stair climbing, repetitive lifting, squatting, pushing, pulling, and stacking corrugated boxes using various machinery. You must be able to withstand warm temperatures during the summer months.

Requirements for Consideration:

Candidates must be able to work collaboratively in a team setting for 8-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including midnights, afternoons, and days.

Additional Information:

  • Starting wage of $27.49/hour
  • Potential wage increase up to $30.03/hour as you advance in your role
  • Shift premiums for afternoon and midnight shifts ($0.85 and $1.30/hour respectively)
  • Benefits available after completing the probationary period of 480 hours
  • Pension plan eligibility after six months of employment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Physically fit and capable of performing the required tasks
  • Willingness to work shifts on a rotating basis
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is advantageous but not mandatory
